Booking Options

The Pill Factory is usually booked as a whole to host loved ones, team getaways or workshops.

But for small groups we do offer selected areas within the property for weekday stays and last-minute weekend deals.

We can accommodate 4, 6, or up to 36 people.

Whichever portion you book, you will always have the place to yourselves.

Bedrooms

14 bedrooms.
23 beds (13 queen, 10 singles).

Bathrooms

Five bathrooms (no ensuites).

Three of them have claw foot baths with showers over. Each contains a toilet. Bathroom soap, tissues and toilet paper are provided.

Heating

There are two open fireplaces in the lounge areas and one external firepit with free wood supplied.

There's also a Gas fire, three externally-flued Gas heaters (wall mounted) and ground bedrooms (only) have a wall mounted electric heater.

Electric blankets are supplied to all other bedrooms and hot water bottles for fold out beds.

All five bathrooms have wall heaters.

Add to that three large electric radiant heaters, three small fan heaters and the Gas fired, converted, old-style oven keeping the kitchen cosy! In short you won't be cold!

Internet & TV

WI-FI is available for free and we have two TVs with access to movie channels.

Kitchen

An old style farmhouse kitchen with wood range (converted to gas), commercial fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave and full pantry. In the kitchen we provide cleaning spray, tea towels, detergent and dishcloths. The Pantry also has oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee and sugar. Basic cooking equipment, Plates and Cutlery for approx 36 are provided. We can recommend a local caterer should you wish for any meals to be provided or there is a selection of local café's and restaurant within easy walking distance.

Private Bar

A substantial bar area is ready for you to stock, with four commercial under bench bar fridges, dishwasher and glasses provided. There is also a slate pool table (table tennis top can be put on this) and retro video game machine (free use) with gas fire. It has direct entry off Anzac Parade. There is a TV with DVD player, radio with iPhone connection and a Chesterfield lounge setting next to the fire.

Dining Room

Four extendable 19th Century French antique tables with matching chairs are provided in the dining room. The adjacent ballroom has club chairs and an open wood fire. The ballroom links the dining room and kitchen directly.

The Attic

The top level of the building has a generous old style attic space with raked ceilings and two large balconies orientated North and South. This is a fantastic multipurpose space that can be used for almost anything except sleeping due to the fact it only has one escape stairway. Conference, wedding, dance floor, kids games room etc.

Please note however there are noise restrictions in this space. After 10pm weeknights and 11pm weekends (Friday and Saturday) guests are required to vacate balconies and music must be turned down. The bar area is available downstairs after this time.

The Library

This is a large room located on the first level with all 11 bedrooms opening out of it. With a Chesterfield lounge setting and an open fire it is a very cosy space. There are books and DVDs available with a second TV/DVD player (from the one in the bar) and a record player with a random collection of records. There's a speaker with microphone and iPhone connection which can be positioned as required.

The BBQ Area

Directly off the main kitchen is a sunny sheltered courtyard and associated BBQ area. A six burner BBQ is available to use in this space. There’s also an extra kitchen and dining room.

Minimum Stay

Two night minimum stay on weekends except for New Years, Easter, Queens Birthday, Labour Day and Christmas when there’s a three night minimum stay.

Inclusions

The factory comes with pillows, duvets with quilt covers, bath mats, hand towels and tea towels. Child's high chair, Cot, Dishes and utensils, Dishwasher, Microwave, Toaster, Oven, Pantry items, Refrigerator, BBQ, Stereo, TV, DVD player, Video library, Video Games, Books, Board Games, Internet access, Iron and board, Wood stove.

Linen is included for small groups when booking selected areas within the property for weekday stays and last-minute weekend deals. Beds will be made up for you prior to arrival.

Make Your Own Bed

(If you really want to)

When booking the entire Pill Factory for a large group, Bed linen and bath towels can be supplied at an additional charge of $50 per double bed, $40 per single.

We offer a discounted rate of $600 for the entire house (all 23 beds with bath towels).

Beds will be made up for you prior to arrival.

You have the option to bring your own linen if you’d prefer. Guests will each need to bring their own queen-sized sheet set (or single) with pillowcases and a bath towel.

If someone forgets theirs, please contact us asap to arrange supply (charges apply).

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES CAN BEDS BE SLEPT IN WITHOUT LINEN.

Parking

There is ample parking on-site for up to 13 cars plus plenty of on-street parking available.

Bikes

Four bikes are provided for your use to explore Bundanoon. Two Adult bikes and two for children.

We have a local manager for support but no one on site.

No smoking or pets inside please.

There are no laundry facilities but an iron and ironing board is available.

Accessibility

Regrettably wheelchair access and accessible bathroom and toilet facilities are not provided due to the historic nature and design of the building, although there are three bedrooms at ground level with only a couple of steps to get in.
